Grilled Portobello Mushrooms
A great appetizer. A great vegan Filet. Whatever it is you pick, it is sure to delight your tastebuds! We love portobello mushrooms so you will see more recipes including them soon.
Makes about 8 mushrooms
Ingredients:
2 sticks of butter (CUT THE BUTTER TIP!: I have updated this recipe since and cut one stick of butter out by using Eniva Avocado/Safflower oil. Replace the stick of butter by using 1/2 cup of oil. You can find the oil here https://eniva.com/heart-healthy-cooking-oil/ )
2tbsp parsley
1tsp thyme
1tbsp slap ya mama cajun seasoning
1/2tbsp paprika
1/2tsp garlic powder
Melt the butter in a bowl. Mix all the ingredients together and pour into the mushroom cap. Grill as shown- no need to even flip, this way the butter melts into the mushrooms and you keep the great flavor.
