pan seared lemon asparagus
Asparagus and lemon is a marriage made in heaven.
What is also made in heaven, you ask? Easy side dishes!
This is so easy and fast you don’t even have to think about it.
Ingredients:
1.5 lb asparagus (bottom 2 inches trimmed)
salt
Lemon zest
Pepper
Directions:
In a bowl, toss your trimmed asparagus with about 1/4 cup oil
Sprinkle on salt
Zest one lemon
Sprinkle pepper
Toss around until evenly coated
Heat a grill pan
Place the seasoned and oil asparagus in the pan
Cook for a few minutes on each side
The goal is just to blister the skin, it will make them tender
