garden flatbread
This is the kind of flatbread/pizza you can use what you have in your fridge! I always have onions and cherry tomatoes, had an extra bell pepper, some brussels sprouts that needed to be used, so here came this creation!
I made a light garlic butter sauce to put on top to keep all the flavors fresh.
Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp slap ya mama seasoning
- 1/4 tsp basil
- Tomatoes (cherry style- about 6)
- 1/2 green bell pepper cut into slices
- 1/2 medium onion cut into slices
- Brussels sprouts leaves (from about 4-5 brussels)
Directions:
- Heat oven to 500
- Roll out pizza dough
- In a pan melt butter
- Add all seasonings and stir
- Pour on top of your pizza dough and spread it around
- Add all veggies
- Make sure you:
- Slice the onion and bell peppers into strips or bite sized chunks
- Pull apart the brussels sprout leaves- You want individual leaves spread out on the bread
- Slice the tomatoes in half
- Cook for about 8-10 minutes until the crust is cooked
