Spinach dip
Spinach Dip is a classic appetizer that isn't hard to make. I love mine with lots of cheese and a little kick of spice!
Ingredients:
- 2 frozen blocks of chopped spinach
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 3 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 (8oz) creole cream cheese- if you can't find this local, sub out for Mascarpone cheese
- 2 (8oz) cream cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- Slap ya mama cajun seasoning
- Cayenne
Directions:
- Cook the spinach according to the package
- Melt down the 1/2 stick of butter in a pot
- Add the garlic and cook until fragrant
- Add the spinach and all of the cheeses
- Add seasonings and adjust to taste
- Serve on baguette toast, Ritz crackers or Tortilla chips
