Crazy Good Skillet Thighs
Oh y'all. This dish is sure to make any breast lover turn into a thigh lover. I always used to eat breast. White meat, it's supposed to be so healthy for you. Well, I'm over all that nonsense. What I am not over, is having tasty, juicy, amazing chicken. Come over to the dark side!
Ingredients:
8 Chicken Thighs
2tbsp slap ya mama cajun seasoning
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tbsp parsley
1/2 tbsp blackened seasoning
1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tbsp Mrs Dash garlic herb seasoning
Juice from 2 lemons
avocado oil (or oil of choice)
Directions:
Squeeze lemon juice into a bowl
Add all other ingredients, except for avocado oil and chicken thighs
Using a large enough skillet to fit all thighs, oil the bottom of the skillet with avocado oil or oil of your choice
One by one, dip the thigh into the mixture and lay them in the skillet, skin side UP
When all thighs are laid out, pour any leftover mixture on top of chicken
Cook for 45 minutes on 350
Check the internal temp (Should be about 185)
Broil for 10 minutes to crisp up the skin
