Listen here. There are some days that I just decide, “Hey Joy, lets embrace your fatness.” This French toast happened on that day. If you don’t want to wear your fat pants today, don’t make this. It’s that simple. And so is this toast recipe! It is wicked and will blow your mind.

French bread, cut 1.5-2 inches thick
8 eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
Chocolate syrup
Whipped cream
Maple Syrup
Powdered sugar
Lemon zest
Butter
Berry sauce: recipe below
Directions:
Take one loaf of french bread and cut it 1.5-2 inches thick
In a large bowl, mix eggs, cinnamon, sugar, lemon juice and mix well
Allow bread to sit in the mixture to soak up all the good stuff!
Flip the bread to allow the other side to get some goodies too :)
On medium heat, melt some butter (About 1 tbsp per batch, depending on the size of your pan, you may need to put 2 tbsp- but you want the butter to coat the bottom)
Place toast in pan, spread out enough to give you room to flip them
Cook until both sides are toasted and move to a plate
Continue until all pieces are cooked
Berry Sauce:
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a pan
Add:
1 cup blueberries
1 cup strawberries (halved or quatered)
1 cup raspberries
1 tsp lemon zest
Sugar if needed
Cook until boiling and reduce heat
Allow it to simmer so the berries get really soft, they will burst and it will create a semi thick sauce
Pour on top of french toast!
Top with:
Whipped cream
Chocolate sauce
Maple syrup
Powdered sugar
