Southern pecan coffee rubbed chops with bourbon coffee sauce

Makes 8 pork chops
Rub:
2 tsp coffee
2 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp ground thyme
1 tsp slap ya mama
1 tsp garlic powder
Sauce:
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup diced onions
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup bourbon
1 tbsp beef stock
1/4 heavy cream
1/4 tsp thyme
1 tsp slap ya mama
1/2 cup brewed coffee
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix the rub ingredients and season on each side of the chop
Heat grill to 250
Cook until the internal temp reaches 140F

Make sauce:
Melt the butter in a heavy bottom or non stick pan
Add diced onions and cook until translucent
Add bourbon, beef stock and garlic powder
Add heavy cream and all other ingredients
Bring to a boil and allow it to thicken
Slice pork chop and drizzle sauce on top
Serve!

Mix up your spices. Coffee, slap ya mama, thyme.

Season both sides of your chops.

Set grill for 250F and let them cook!

Grill each side until internal temp is at 145F

Make your sauce! Coffee, bourbon, heavy cream, salt and pepper.

Assemble and enjoy!
