boozy berry sauce

3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups strawberries, halved
2 tbsp orange liquor
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Directions:
Melt down the butter in a heavy bottom pan
Add strawberries and sugar and let it come to a boil and thicken
Add in liquor- if using a gas range, turn off heat
Add the lemon juice
