cherry white chocolate oatmeal cookies
Cherry and white chocolate is one of my little girl's favorite combinations. She flat out loves cherry. So much so we had to name one of our dogs Cherry.
Yeah. Cherry!
We love my oatmeal cookies, so I thought why not add that mixture to them. Ya just can't go wrong.
Try them, they are fabulous!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup white chocolate
- 1 cup dried Cherries
- 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 cups AP flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 sticks softened butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Mix together the butter and sugars well
- Add eggs one at a time
- Add vanilla
- Mix the rest of the ingredients in a separate bowl
- Add to butter mixture slowly
- Add white chocolate and dried cherries
- Using a small scooper (about 2 tbsp) Scoop out cookies spacing 2 inches apart
- Cook on 350 for 10 minutes or until done
- Cool on a wire rack
